This cottage style hospital was built 96 years ago, due to the generosity of an American called Mr.Van Allen. The hospital has 35 beds plus 5 beds in ICU and there is a small paediatric ICU. It is old fashioned as one would expect, but spotless. The equipment is aged, but working and checked regularly.There is an Xray dept and a Theatre. The post natal ward seems to be the busiest. The 5 beds are usually full. Please note this program is only suitable for people who have experience as a medical/nursing/hospital worker.
