Veterinary Placement

Location: Ghana / Greater Accra Region / Accra Volunteers needed: 2

Beach Road Animal Hospital is located in a residential area and therefore serves the local community. Although the vet has small practice, the volunteers will be integrated into local life as people from the local community will bring their pets in. This placement deals with a wide range of animals from dogs, cats and livestock such as goats. The vet is willing to let volunteers administer medicines and help in operations if they have the experience; if they don't have the experience then they are able to assist the vet in his daily tasks.
